1. My topic is the effect of Prostitution on women's health.
2. I am looking for both background and more specific information about this topic because they will help me construct my introduction and body of the paper resopectively.
3.The following are my search strings
D2L content page of IM 204 ; The miller centre LIbrarywebsite,I logged in with my student id number bar code, i typed books on prostitution and cliciked search. some books on prostitution came up i copied the call number of the one i felt i will need. The books call number is HQ115.P762006. This really didn't take time because i typed in the key words which i think was not too broad for the search.
4.I found very few E book through advanced search about two. I will really be interested in reading E books if i will be able to see more that will be related to my topic . This will help me get a wider view and more knowledge about my topic when i join it with books.
5. The E book i glanced through was faster in getting information unlike the traditional print book that you have to go through the contents before you could find things that might be of help in your topic.
6 I dont have a mobile device but if i had one, it will be definitely faster for me than reading a print book.
7.The link on the assignment page take me to the St cloud great river regional library, instead i had to google st cloud great river regional library OPAC, which took me to their website. again i typed in books on prostitution and it was only 7 books that came up of which none was related to my topic even though they were about prostitution.
The search research of st cloud state bears more strings and also have more books than that of great river regional library.

What Do You Assume To Be True About Prostitutes?
- The vulnerable population that is of interest to me this semester is the prostitutes.I am so curious to find out what makes people to become prostitutes-I want to narrow my mind if, it is a genetical problem, economical problem, social influence or just one's hobby.
- This poulation is very hard to recognize because they always disguise themselves by mingling around the whole place. I mean it is never written on anybody's face I am a prostitute.
- I have learnt of this through the media via news saying different ways these prostitutes meet thir counterparts through disguised ways of which sometimes, they are being set up by police officers for them to get arrested.
- I am envisagng that my biggest challenge in writing this reasearch is wether i can get enough sources of information to carry out my research.
What is Critical Thinking?
- Literally,Critical thinking can be defined as a refined way of thinking in order to come up with an improved or a better quality of thought about issues.
- Some of the places I 've heard about critical thinking are in my sociology, psychology, and anatomy and physiology classes.
- According to (Paul $ Elder 2006 p.xxiii) Critical Thinking can be defined as "mode of thinking- about any subject, content, or problem- in which the thinker improves the quality of his or her thinking by skillfully analyzing, assessing and reconstructing it".
- In order for one to engage in in an effective critical thinking, the following processes must be engaged;thinking should be analyzed, thinking should be evaluated and thinking should be improved ( Paul $ Elder, 2006, p.xxiii)
- Critical thinking is connected to research strategies in a way that research strategies is highly dependent on critical thinking skills such as synthesis, evaluation, organization and information to knowledge to be able to come up with a credible research.
